2018 Skin Fermented Grüner Veltliner
Harvested from our organic estate, footstomped, and fermented on the skins much like a red wine. We take a very minimal winemaking intervention approach by not filtering or fining the wine as well as adding the least amount of sulfur as possible. This wine can also be called an "orange wine", not for its flavor, but for its color.
Expect a bright orange wine filled with grapefruit, orange zest, kumquat aromatics and an umami finish that will keep you thinking about this wine for hours. Pair this with cheese, thai food, and chicken roasted with oranges and rosemary.
