2015 Pinot Noir Duvarita Vineyard

It doesn't seem that long ago when we first came to this valley and hiked up on a hilltop overlooking a vineyard with sheep. The vines were Pinot Noir and we were transfixed by the beauty of the scene. Making this first vintage of Pinot Noir pretty much completes the picture we created for our lives at that moment. 

The wine reflects Duvarita's terroir which is a sandy, hillside vineyard located just West of the Santa Rita Hills. Being from a cooler climate, it has a distinct light character but definitely smells and tastes hauntingly like Pinot! The vineyard is organic and biodynamic in practice. 

Simply enjoy this with good food, fresh roasted salmon or chicken is usually our favorite.
