SOLMINER SHIPPING FAQ

Where do you ship?  We can ship most places except AL, AK, DE, KY, MA, MS, MT, NH, OK, PA, RI, TN, UT.   While we can ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and other countries it is considerably more expensive (contact us for a quote).  All wine is sold in California and passes to the buyer in California.*

How long does it take?  Our wine ships overnight in California.  Usually 3 days to the western states and 5 days to the East.  During extreme weather conditions, we will offer temperature controlled shipping free of charge.  This typically takes 10-14 days as the wine is actually shipped via special carrier in a temperature controlled truck.  You will receive tracking information once your package is printed for shipping.  We will notify you if we think the weather warrants temp controlled shipping.

Do I need to sign for it?  Yes. This is to insure that you are 21 years or older and can legally receive it.  You may be required to show ID when receiving your wine.

What if I'm not at home during the day?  We commonly have customers who are working during the day use their place of business as their shipping address. It is a good idea to try to make sure you receive the delivery on the first attempt but arrangements can be made to re-deliver or pick up at UPS or Fed Ex.  You will receive an e-mail with tracking info to help coordinate your wines' arrival.

Will my wine be safe?  We take every effort to make sure that your wine arrives in perfect condition.  In situations of extreme weather, wine can be damaged so we take extra precautions by packing with ice and shipping via temperature controlled trucks.  Please try to make sure you are available to accept the package during the first delivery attempt to avoid continued transport of the wine.  Once you receive your wine it is a good idea to let the wine rest for a week or two before opening. (We understand and it's ok if you can't wait that long!)

Our main concern is to make the shipping process easy for you.  Please contact us for any reason regarding shipment of wine.  We look forward to getting Solminer to your home, table, or cellar!
